Among the existing KCA ministries is a youth segment well known as the Kingdom Life Trajectory Movement (KLT). The role of the KLT movement is to deliberately manifest the purposes of God about young people despite challenges and forces that life bring as articulated in Jeremiah 1:7 “But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, I am only a youth; for to all whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak”. God has already equipped young people with strength of mind, body and spirit by the power of the pure and living word of God.
The KLT comprise of 3 principal components, namely:
God in his desire to be in a functional relationship with the youth has provided the required internal divine structure in scriptures. This become a standard towards which young people should drive their live to establish. Capacity is therefore a journey of discovery of God’s preferred internal structure in a young person.
Coming to a new standard of life like the call of God to the youth will always necessitates a full awareness of one’s current state in relation to the required standard as revealed during the discovery journey. Limitation here is therefore not a negative evaluation of self but rather a recognition of having a sight of God that reveals the mortality limitation to be surrendered to God. It is out of our recognition of the true limitations of mortality in walking with God that enables God to pour in us his divine resources that enable us to journey forward towards maturity and fulfilment of his purpose in our lives.
By Movement here we refer to the commitment young people should establish in themselves to enter a journey of discovery that bridges the gap between the limitations of and the divine internal structure of God for functional relationship. It is “the trajectory” to be fully accepted and entered into deliberately and decisively. For the challenges of the youth life should find a young person full engaged in God – if idle then it is easy to lose focus.
In pursuit of spiritual advancement & seamless earthly movement to kingdom agenda, the Youth/KLT movement will consistently engage in the following:
Design programmes that will assist the young person to identify their own journey and continue to provide support in gaining momentum towards a desired state of relationship with God. These will include seminars and workshops, collaborations with other youth programmes, and many more.
